More of our great teachers at the festival this year. Flora Gillman and Paula McKinlay.

Love this quilt.  We have so many great quilts how am I going to decide which classes to take?
'' I am Flora Anderson Gillman.  Love to quilt, love to talk. I Enjoy getting to know anyone else with the same interests!  I have been quilting for 21 years.  I learned by going to a mid-week Relief Society activity that turned into "That Alpine Quilt Group" that has continued to meet every month for the last 21 years!  The women in that group have become my dearest friends.  What a bonding experience quilting is.  I also work a little in the quilting world.  I work one or two days a week at Broadbent's in Lehi, a wonderful little quilt shop, where I make a few samples, teach a few classes, (love our "Girl Gang"), and visit with everyone who comes  through the door.  I have never taught at Quiltwalk but have attended.  I have been teaching for several years at Winter Quilt Retreat at Ruby's Inn,  and at PiePlate Patterns Retreat and last fall at the Utah Valley Quilt Guild Aspen Grove retreat.  Most of the quilts I teach are simple, but teach a technique or a principle as well as a pattern.  Keeping things simple usually allows everyone who attends to feel sucessful, often with something to show for their efforts in a relatively short time.  I love to watch new quilters GET IT, don't you?  I am traveling with my buddy, maven and fellow teacher, Paula McKinlay, and we can't wait to visit the Panguitch Quiltwalk.  Thanks for including us.'

Isn't this the cutest baby quilt.  I think I need some of those dots for a new background.

This is paula's quilt for the festival.  She writes, "This is my first time at the quilt walk, I am so excited. I have been piecing quilts for 21 years. I have always loved creating "things", I started with knitting Barbie rugs, then moved onto "troll" doll clothes. I eventually designed my own clothes and then quilts. I love making baby quilts. Here are the pictures of my classes I am teaching. Also my new pattern, covered notebook ."

This bag, is it to big to call a purse?  Is fabulous.  Imagine all the colors you could use.  Crochet out of fabric.  I may have to put this on my list.
Here is her notebook cover.
