We had a trunk show at guild last night--wait until you see

These quilts.  Debbie Neilson was our guest and these quilts are awesome.  I will show a few at a time so you can take it all in.  Debbie is A machine quilter but many of these are from before she began machine quilting.

She said she did paper piecing for many of these rows.  Love this quilt.

This is from a class taught by Bonnie Miles.

She said this was from a row of the month she was in, I think, I know it doesn't add up but it is a cute quilt and a fun idea.

raw edgde applique.  She even left a raw edge on her binding.

I believe this was from a class she taught.  She worked at Mormon Handicraft and did samples and taught classes.

I thought you might need another look at this one.

I can hardly wait to share sew night.

Wow! some awesome stuff tonight.
This quilt is stunning.  Claudia is teaching this class this week.

The close up of it assures me it is beyond me.  I will just have to look on with awe.

She is also teaching this one.  I hope she wants to do this at the Quilt Walk.  If so I better be buying some of the new Christmas fabric out.

Shannon just got this one back from her quilter and I am sorry your can't see the quilting better but this quilt is so cute.  I love the giant ric rac around the  border.  I may have to make one of these.  It is raw edge applique.  I wonder how it looks after it is washed.  I bet it is way cute.
LaVee got this one back from the same quilter.   I am sorry I can't remember who they said it was but "love this quilt."  I have been wanting to make one of these for a long time.  I even found a tutorial on the Missouri Star site for it but this makes me want to do it now.  I would not have thought to use the black but it really makes it pop.

This crazy quilt is an antique family heirloom.

Dianne made this one and it turned out awesome.  She is helping her daughter in law put one like it together as a Christmas gift.  How fun to start out new quilters.  I really like the colors.

This is Helens newest.  I wish I had gotten close enough for you to see the fabric she used it is so fun, perfect for a little boy.

I thought this was a perfect basket, for fabric scraps.  .

JeriLu makes these bibs for baby gifts.  they are almost too cute to use.  Congratulations on another grandbaby, jeri.

Lauretta liked Shannons quilt so much she decided to put one together.  The fabric on this is so crisp and cheerful.

I hope you were as wowed by our sew night as I was.

Now on to tonight.  I love Shannon's log cabin with the panel in the center.  This fabric  looks bright and  fun.

Lana has been working on the Apple Core quilt with civil war fabric   She said it still needs 8 more rows.  That will be a nice size quilt.

Helen has been making doll quilts.  They just need the binding.

Delora's granddaughter picked out this fabric it really came together in a fun way.

Helen has been making bags like this one.

Shannon is making her mom a quilt with this fabric.

Angela made this quilt out of scraps from the one she made last year.  Dang  it is cute.

This is her quilt from the festival this year.

Karen didn't bring a project but was sharing produce from her garden.  These are called Greek beans and they were pretty tasty just snapped and eaten.

Loretta found this piece of fabric that turned into a darling baby quilt.
I am glad to be back.  I heard there will be an awesome trunk show at quild next month.  I can't wait.
