This is how I have been spending my time.

Holly (she makes the most amazing books) has hooked me on making mini albums.  These will be wedding shower gifts.  I am not sure what to put on the front.  I am thinking memories are not appropriate.  What would you suggest?  I will be adding some of the engagement photos to these and leaving the rest for them to fill in. 

I will show you the insides without photos as I would not want to share someones photos without their permission. 

I am not always so sure of my paper choices but I have the same problem with fabric choices for my quilts. 

Posting to tell you about another blog.

Remember my dil holly who makes those amazing mini albums? Mini album and more and a paper bag album.  Well she has started her own blog.  She is so talented and can do just about anything she puts her mind to. I can't wait to see what she will do next.  Give her a visit if you get a minute.  I think she may be teaching a class at the Quilt Walk this year. 

Becky sent me some pictures of the projects she did over the holidays.  She was fast and did some way cute quilts and gifts. She even quilted them herself.  Way to go Becky. I have been working on getting them resized.

Last Wednesday was sew night.

In stead of sewing some of us began making a book like those Holly makes.  Holly did all the work of cutting and putting the kits together.  It was great fun but of course our books are not done.  One more night should do it.  I hope.  She sews on her pages and it makes them look so finished.  I am not sure mine are going to look that good.  I will try to show you the great kits she put together and all of us working so hard as soon as my camera shows back up.  Dianne who is expecting a new grand baby is making the cutest baby book.  Holly really was able to make kits for each of us that fit our personalities. She is going to be teaching the class at the quilt walk this year.  I am thinking of making one to keep pictures of my quilts in. It may take me a couple of years though to fill it up. 
We have sew night again tomorrow because guild meeting was changed to the 27th.  MaryLou is going to show us how to do rope baskets.  It should be fun.
