Sew Night!

Helen brought this quilt she had made from a class Claudia  taught at the Quilt Walk a few years ago.  It is a unique block I had to get up close to figure it out.
Pretty cool, I think.

This was a doily she had used for the basket.  Too cute.

We learned how to do these blocks  it is called tube quilting. Marylou really went to town and had 13 blocks done she is almost ready to sew it together. I saw the video on these blocks here. Go to summer in the park using jelly rolls . She made these using the avairy line of fabric.  What a pretty quilt this is going to be.

LaVee brought her quilt all sewn together and ready to cut apart to make the twisty quilt.  (what is the name of that one?)  She and Lana are ready to cut.

Helen even brought a book and a magazine to see if anyone wanted them.

I had to leave for a meeting after I took these pictures so there may have been even more ladies come to sew.  Sorry If I missed you.

Enjoy!
