Fun stuff from our Guild Night

Lillian has been making little boy quilts since she is getting grandbaby boys now after have girls for quite a while.  She used a panel that she cut apart for the animals.  So fun, I bet the little boys will love them and their sisters will be jealous.

She also said she makes these pillow cases for her grandchildren.  What a fun gift.
We are doing a mystery quilt for guild this year and some of the ladies brought the beginning of their quilts so far.  It is fun to see the different fabric and combinations everyone is using.  I am still contemplating fabric for mine.  Remember I hate to cut into it.  This is Katherine's fabric.
Becky has made this to cover the back of her husbands new leather chair to protect it from kittens.  She said that their living room is decorated in Buffalo Bill.   She owns the Cowboy collectibles store on Main Street.

And here is her selection of fabrics.  I like how her pattern and plain fabric are reversed from most of the blocks shown.
 Lauretta's selection.

 Marylou's
Florence's.  I am loving her stripes.  I would say sorry about the sun but it felt so good to have it streaming though the windows.

Lorna finished this wall hanging from a kit she bought.  It is so intricate and mini hexagons.

She made this little needle holder at retreat and said that she finally learned how to applique after all these years she found out she had been doing it wrong and this is so much easier.

And here is Crystals spring quilt.  She quilted this on her machine.

She is the one who made the sweet Valentines quilt last month.
More to come. These ladies are so talented.
