I have a new flimsy or at least the heart of one

I do plan to put on borders but haven't yet decided on them.  I bought extra fabric from this line. One jelly roll made this it is probably only going to lap quilt size.  The fabric is Bittersweet, by Banartex.  Wow! great fabric. I almost hated to cut it because it had such a nice feel to it.  Anyway I am afraid the fabric I bought is too busy so I am thinking solids.  If you have any suggestions let me know. I am thinking purple ( inner border) and gold (outside border) solids, too much? Also sorry for the sun in the window.  This was the first picture with my new Christmas "I pad."
