Mini album

This mini album is for a dear friend who lost her mom last year.  This mom was a second mom to me and it was healing to me to be able to work on these albums. I have another one I will post tomorrow for her sister.    I have put two pictures of the front of the album, I am wondering about it, do you think the butterfly is to big?

This is the inside of the front cover.  the tag is removable.

Trying to make it close better,  I made most of the flowers pretty flat.

this next page has an envelope mini ablum on it.  there are 11 pages on it for pictures, journaling or in this case I put in a favorite recipe.  I learned how to do this from a tutorial by tracy of tracy's treasures. Check it out.  Tracy's tutorial  I did not use envelopes but just cut the cardstock to the size of the envelopes.

Each of these next pages have places to slide in the pictures.  I guess you can see the tags sticking up above the top of the pages.  I did not make each page have a top pocket.  There are I think five pockets.

This is the back page.  the circle in removable.

  1. This album is so gorgeous and thoughtful! You better have kleenex ready, because I believe the waterworks are going to start. Don't you just love Tracy's tutorials? I saw the same one you mentioned but haven't made anything yet. Your post has inspired me. TFS!
