Sew Night Fun

I am working on Bonnie's Scrappy Trip Quilt.  Kind of late to the party but I just could not resist.  It has not however helped me get rid of scraps, if anything it has increased them.  I feel like when I turn out the lights and leave the room they multiply.
Shannon is working on Snowmen banners for Christmas gifts.
Lauretta learned to make this rug at a family reunion.
LaVee finished her red, white and black quilt.  It really looks good.

 Angela finished her Spools quilt.

The 24th of July has always been a big day in Panguitch.

It is a state holiday and is supposed to be the day the pioneers came into the Salt Lake Valley. We always have a big parade, town breakfast, and rodeo. For as long as I can remember the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers have had a rhythm band in this parade. The numbers are getting fewer as the years go on but it is always a fun float and music.

Show and tell from the last day of the Quilt Walk.

I finally found someone who explained to me that "Steam Punk" is sort of like the past, so if you were in the past this is what you would think the future wood look like.  I guess it is like when  I was a kid and would watch Flash Gordon or the original star trek.
Sorry I wasn't fast enough for this but Becky made this from a class from last year.
She one a set of the blocks last year and this is how she set it together.
Jessica made this from a class she took.
Oh wow, I can't remember what she said about this but it is a beauty.
 Love these colors.

Mrs. Wilson put this quilt together from fabric that she had received the wrong cutting instructions on.
Artie always has such a good eye for color, I see her use batiks a lot.
 love this one.
