A Message from Jerilu
Just a note to thank everyone who helped with the Quilt Walk Festival this year. There are hundreds of hours of effort no one ever sees! It takes so many people to make this a successful event.
We appreciate all who participated as instructors and all who came as students. The support we felt as a new committee was great.
Again Thank you everyone and see you all again next year!
Jeri Lu and the Quilt Walk Committee
I had to post this quilt that someone had brought to the show. I believe it tells a story of a group or family that met for the years 1874-1978 but I didn't get the whole story but I love the fun blocks and idea of the quilt.

Some of the quilts from the classes
Sorry I was not more diligent at getting to all the classes, scheduling conflicts got in the way. This first one is the dancing stars that Sandy Varley taught. It was really gorgeous.
This is a beautiful block that goes together for this great quilt.
This class with the boats looked like so much fun. I saw some of the students boats finished and they were so cute.
I had actually looked at taking this class and decided not to. When I saw this quilt I wished I had signed up. The fabric she used made this a real personal and conversation quilt.

A few quilts from the show. Oh My, beautiful.
These two quilts were so striking. I love traditional quilts with something new and fresh. I think these are great.
Quilts like this remind me of my grandma. She would stitch the blocks in the evenings. Later watching television ( televisions came late to Panguitch) but usually while family and friends visited.
I 'll try to post more from the show later tomorrow.

Photos Finally
Life got out of control and I am just getting the photos together from festival. Today's photos are from the Las Vegas Quilters trunk show. I did not get all the quilts because as you will see they were showing them with just enough time of ohhs and awes then folding them back up. My poor camera could not keep up.
